The pediatric clinic was established in January, 2012 in Nahr El-Bared center of Beit Atfal Assumoud, funded by generous people who are living in Canada and who are the parents of a family living in the camp. This is the only clinic that provides services for free among the Palestinian camps in Lebanon.

Objectives of the clinic
1.Providing the children of the camp (Palestinian refugee in Lebanon/Palestinian refugee from Syria) and the adjacent areas with free of charge services.
2.Improving the health situation of the children in Nahr El-Bared camp.
3.Reducing the families’ financial burdens.
4.Providing health directions and instructions.
5.Providing the patient children with free sample medications.
Around 350 children benefit from the services of the pediatric clinic monthly.
