On 03-10-2019: Dentist clinic at Rashidieh Center has conducted a check on the teeth of kindergarten children (stage 3 kindergarten) and give health education on the importance of caring for the cleanliness of the body and the protection of teeth from decay.
From 4 till 6 October 2019: As part of the cultural exchange program with Norway, which focuses on music, Mr. Vegar Storve, accompanied by Norwegian musicians, have visited Rashidieh Center to follow up on the music project and set up music workshops with students and trainers. During the visit, they taught the children new songs that were recorded to be published in Norway.
On 05-10-2019: The Dabkeh band of Bait Atfal Al-Sumoud Institution in Rashidieh camp participated in the folkloric heritage concert has organized by SHIELD Foundation in partnership with Snabel Center for caring of elderly people on the conclusion of their project (Our heritage is our identity). The band presented Palestinian heritage dances that won the admiration.
On 06-10-2019: Peer educators and a group of youth from Rashidieh Center has participated in the open day within the project of reproductive health (peer education program), which was held in Borj Al Shamali camp under the title (your health is between your hands. Drug use ends your life), which included an interactive play, corners, games and drawings exhibition about the scourge of drugs and how to protect ourselves from it.
On 07-10-2019: As part of the peer education program, Beit Atfal Assumoud Institution at Rashidieh Center gave awareness sessions to the students of the vocational training program (Aluminum Course ). The first session was about (Sehaty Wa Salamaty ) game , which includes health information for young people.
On 09-10-2019: Beit Atfal Assumoud Institution at Rashidieh center has organized the first educational meeting for parents of kindergarten children. The meeting included the following:-
- The kindergarten philosophy of Beit Atfal Assumoud Institution stems from the values of Palestinian society and works to develop the national and social culture among children.
- Kindergarten curriculum (integrated, integrated and holistic) and keep pace with scientific development.
- Laws and regulations kindergarten and respect.
- The role of the parents and their participation in the educational process.
- The parents Committee and its role (selection of members of the Committee).
- The mechanism of payment of Kindergarten fees.
- Programs and activities of the Center.
On 10-10-2019: Beit Atfal Al Sumoud Foundation has organized the first educational meeting for parents of students of a program of study support. The meeting discussed the following:
- The importance and concept of academic support.
- Personal Hygiene of the children / Hepatitis A.
- Behaviors of the children.
- The role of the parents and their participation in the educational process.
- Programs and activities of the Center.
On 10-10-2019: Psychosocial support program at Rashidieh center within the program (parents deal) has organized an awareness session for kindergarten mothers on the subject (challenges and difficulties faced by parents during their dealings with children). Number of participants: 20 mothers.
