On 02-05-2019: A meeting was held for a group of mothers, discussing their involving in the activities, issues related to the camp & and the most important thing is addiction....and the role of committee to some activities with them.
On 03-05-2019: Different activities were applied with sponsored children from 8 to 10 years old by the help of committee's mother. Such activities reading stories, discussion the events of the story, coloring and memory games. At the end pencil cases were given as a kind of encouragement and involving the activities.
On 07-05-2019: A delegation from United Kingdom visited Borj Al Shamali center to know the services and activities of the center and make a tour inside the camp to discover the bad situations of Palestinian refugees in the camps and at the end of this visit a gift was presented to the volunteer of English Teacher (LEAP-ASPIRE) Elizebeth Hagan.
On 10-05-2019: The reproductive health program of Borj Al Shamali organized a workshop for the youth at AL Houleh Association about the Gender.
On 14-05-2019: Borj Al Shamali kindergarten held the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Nakba of Palestine with the coordination of all KGs in the camp.
On 15-05-2019: Beit Atfal Assumoud Institution at Tyre area organized a poetry evening in Al-Burj Center on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Nakba of Palestine for young people and volunteers in the centers. The poet Dr. Anwar Musa and the poet Jihad Hanafi participated in the evening.
The evening included, Ramadan’s Iftar, a film about the Nakba, speech by the coordinator of Tyr area Mr. Mahmoud Al Gomaa.
Poems of the poets addressed the memory of the Nakba, the dream of return back to Palestine, prisoners and land and nostalgia for Jerusalem...
On 17-05-2019: The reproductive health program of Borj Al Shamali center organized a workshop for the youth about life skills (Sahati w Salamati game).
