Beit Atfal Assumoud celebrated the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People designated on November 29th in Rashidieh center under the support of the Norwegian People’s Aid organization by organizing an open day on the Women Can Do It Project. Mothers from Rashidieh, El Buss, Burj Shemali and Ein El Hillweh camps participated in the day in addition to other organizations. Burj Shemali center’ director gave a speech related to the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People and another one related to the role of women and her integration in the society. All participants enjoyed the useful games and activities that aimed at increasing the awareness of all the participated women towards being decision makers and building a successful community. In addition, there was a special corner for food prepared by the mothers’ committee of Rashidieh center.
