The centers who are running the Psychosocial Support
Program "Nahr El Bared, Burj Shemali, Rashidieh, and El Buss” celebrated the
World Day for The Prevention of Child Abuse” on November 19th, 2015.
The day included games, acrobatics, puppets and other
educational and recreational activities that helped the children to understand
what we mean by child abuse and how to protect themselves from this problem. In
addition, awareness sessions for parents were organized to increase the
parents’ awareness concerning this issue. At the end, all the participants
received gifts. 290 children and parents from El Buss participated in this
event, 450 from Nahr El Bared, 275 from Rashidieh, 200 from Burj Shemali.
