In follow up to the communications with UNRWA and with the imminent release of the Service Contract related to the Community-Targeting Sensitization Sessions on Mental Health Related Issues, a Signing Ceremony has been organized on November 16th, 2015 at UNRWA, LFO – main Conference Room to launch the timely UNRWA-Beit Atfal Assumoud Partnership on the MHPSS awareness raising campaign. The agreement was signed by the head, field procurement and logistics office Mr. Ram Triveda in the presence of the Senior Communications Adviser Mrs. Zizette Darkazally, the donor relations and project officer Ms. Julia Lieser, the communication officer Mrs. Sahar Omran and other UNRWA staff, and the General Director of BAS Mr.Kassem Aina accompanied by the Mental Health Program Coordinator Ms. Liliane Younes.
The Community-Targeting Sensitization Sessions on Mental Health Related Issue will be conducted by a group of experts from the Family Guidance Centers in the 6 areas of Beirut, Ein El Helweh, Wavel, El Buss, Beddawi and Nahr El Bared within the European Union-funded project "improving the living conditions of Palestine refugees in Lebanon”.
