FEATURING NISCVT LATEST NEWS

BEIRUT MARATHON, THE EVENT

NISCVT participated for the second year in the Beirut Marathon 2009. This year was a special participation for our organization due to the sponsorship of our Finish friends and FNB (First National Bank). The Extreme Survival Team went into this year’s marathon well prepared with team uniforms for all the participants who summed up to reach 700 runners. The NISCVT (Burj Al Shemali) band started the marathon with the Lebanese and Palestinian national anthems, and things during the marathon went smoothly, our kids enjoyed it to the maximum, and our pit stop stand served the runner some fresheners. We should point that 2 of our Finnish friends in the Extreme Survival Team (Nina Lyytinen and Esa Palosaari) succeeded to complete the 40 killo distance for their first time. This year our participation was a huge success and we are willing to conitnue with our progress aiming for a 1000 participant for next year.
